From its launch on August 31st, 2013, ECOSOLE project has now come full circle, successfully reaching its goals: the development of a low cost, high efficiency, easily manufacturable and deployable HCPV system, for utility scale solar energy generation.
ECOSOLE consortium met industrial and civil society representatives on Jan 25th, 2016 to discuss the potential of CPV across countries – specifically, market demands and possible answers were addressed. The evolution of PV and CPV market has been analysed and a new perspective for the exploitation of ECOSOLE results was envisaged.
