Becar was founded at the beginning of 1990 by Beghelli SpA and three engineers (Ing. Maurizio Carpanelli, Ing. Gianni Borelli and Ing. Daniele Verdilio) with different experiences in the electronic sector. The company has an establishment of 41 people (31 in possession of a university degree and 10 of a diploma), formed chiefly of electronics, mechanics and materials engineers and computer experts.
At present the company is collaborating, under an exclusive contract, in the development and perfecting of new products for the Beghelli market. The company’s researchers possess a know-how that is at the cutting edge in the fields of analogue, digital and power electronics, of mechanics and optoelectronics. The research and development structure has an area of more than 500 m2 with laboratory fully equipped, with particular attention to the problems of radio communication and sensors for environmental parameters.
MAIN TASKS IN THE PROJECTS
Becar will coordinate the programme and will directly design and develop the HCPV module’s housing, the tracker and the module’s inverter, realize the HCPV module assembly line and supervise the system design.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND PUBLICATIONS/PATENTS
In the first years of 2000, Becar started the study of renewable energy applications, particularly concentration photovoltaic systems. Has matured a significant know how in the design of PV modules, inverters, trackers and field system test equipments. The following patents, only a few of the latest, have been developed by Becar and registered as Beghelli.
– Photovoltaic panel – USD595645 (S1)
– Photovoltaic generator with solar tracking integrated into support structure – EP2051306 (A1)
– System for the analysis and management of the electric power consumption of an electric installation – EP1883056 (A2)
– Central test radio frequency system for emergency lighting – WO2006061254 (A1)
– Infrared optical anti-intrusion barrier with a simplified wiring harness – EP1260950 (A2)
